At present, most of guys like to collect DVDs which will provide good video and audio quality. For many movie funs, DVDs are incredible. It brings convenience for people to re-watch their favorite movies. No matter how many times you play a DVD the quality will always be good. However, DVDs are always easily getting scratched, damaged, broken or lost. And some classic or limited versions are very difficult to find after releasing long time. So the best bet to avoid above annoying is to rip DVDs onto your hard drive for archiving and store all of the originals in a box for keeping them safely.
How to rip DVD to pc
Download Leawo DVD ripper .Install the DVD ripper in your pc and then launch it.

Step1. Load DVD files
Click “Add” to get DVD files to the program and then there will be a list showing, if you want to rip the whole film to your computer, so you can tick all the titles and chapters showing in the list.

Step2. Choose the output format
You can choose the output format in the dropdown box of “Profile”. At present, MP4, AVI etc. are commonly used, so you can convert DVD to these commonly used format which can also be supported by mobile devices, here I will take MP4 as an example. Choose “(*MP4)” in common video.

Step3. (Optional) Click “Edit” to edit video in your desire.
Click the titles or chapter you want to edit for, and then click “Edit”, you can view the video clip by double clicking it and then it will be shown on the built-in player on the right.

Trim—you can drag the button on the slides to trim the video or change the Start Time, End Time and the Clip Length.
Crop— Choose “Letter Box” from “Zoom” and crop the video in “Cropped size”, or directly drag the dot frame for it. Click “OK” to confirm the settings.
Effect—you can adjust Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, and Volume Zoom by dragging the slides.
Watermark—you can add an image or enter a text to be the watermark to the video clip. Click “T” button to adjust its font properties, set its transparence and position to create a text watermark.
Step4. Setting
You can set the parameters such as video size, video codec, bit rate, frame rate and aspect ratio for video clips by click “Settings”. In the Video Size, you can choose the size as per your device.

Step5. Convert DVD to your pc
After all the settings completed, click “Convert” to start DVD to MP4 conversion. Then your DVD can be kept in your computer.
